I like the nice before and after pictures of a really dirty car and a clean car. Awesome.
BTW: I'm sure if you shop around just a tiny bit you can find some better deals. I wouldn't recommend going to a dealership for detailing.

Great, so they create scratches and then work to remove them. NICE!

But a true RFDer would detail his own car himself and save the $159 for PM opportunities for price error items!!! hahaha
And then sell the hoarding extras for profit on BST threads to boot!

See, this is where I'd want to go. No worry about scratches or abrasive detergents - they just wave a wand and, presto, your car is spotless!

I am actually quite interested to know if anybody is aware of a reliable, quality detailing shop. Thank you.

It's not a DETAIL if it's $60. That's like an hour's work. You can't do a proper prep in an hour.

Hey Crasher,
I called Erin Park and they want $194.95 for the ultimate wash.
The link is located here (http://www.erinparktoyota.com/parts_and_service/toyota_touch_detailing).
If anyone knows of any detailers for under $150, it will be of great assistance to the board. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Engine clean, Shampoo carpets, etc.

i used to own a Lexus and DVN gives me a car wash everytime I bring it to service.
At the time of the purchase, they call it "detailing". Now when I bring it back, they call it car washing.
Quite honestly, the car came back dirtier than I brought it in before the car wash.
And notice I said "I used to own a Lexus".

Say no to dealership's "detailing" their noobs will probably cause swirls, mar the paint, cause buffer burn if they do use one and use some crap products. Go to www.autopia.org and go to the Canadian section to find a detailer worthy of the name.

RFD is where you come to save money...not waste money. Then again, I have wated money on buying stuff here just because it was cheap.

That's for a deluxe detail, which is the most basic offerred. Both detailers offer a deluxe (basic), premium, and ultimate. FYI, the deluxe @ DVN is $35.
The OP quoted the price for ultimate.

I know exactly how you feel. I washed and waxed my car a week before taking it into the dealership for service. I forgot to tell them not to wash my car. When I went to pick up my car, there were water spots everywhere! :(

There's some very creative use of English going on there. e.g. "bumps and cruises".
Wonder how that "paintless dent removal" works? Without paint or filler? What do they do, disassemble the door/fender and push the dent back out or something?

They seem to be connecting the name to the dealership for some reason.
