The Pro111FD is insanely hot, but where did you hear about this deal? I'm guessing that's just the starting price for this auction, as their website shows it on sale for $3900.

I got a sub last year from this auction.

You can pick stuff up for roughly 50% of the "listed price", although I'm certain they don't worry too much about finding a current MSRP, and probably go with the first one they got...

Mine was BNIB, with receipt/warranty, too. YMMV, though.

you have no idea what your talking about.. just because they discontinued making the tv does not mean all warenties are void....

That's an awesome deal if you can get it for $2310...

I have this set and have been blown away by its picture quality - like it so much that I'd prefer to watch the game at home instead of watching it on a big screen at the bar...it's just not the same anymore after watching on the Elite. :cheesygri

you have no idea what your talking about.. just because they discontinued making the tv does not mean all warenties are void....

They also released stripped-down versions of the Elites (the M500 / M600, IIRC) and apparently did another manufacturing run of Elite panels. I've heard that supply is projected to last through the summer.

the 50" pioneer doesn't say anything about a display model. I just don't think I could spend $3k (after taxes) on a tv, even if it is a great deal.
