Yes, sorry for not stating that this is the Dell Outlet in the USA. I am trying to figure out how to order from the Dell Outlet when I am in Canada and have Dell ship to a USA mailing address. I have a thread about that going in the Shopping Forum.

Any feedback on the quality of this 20% off deal ?

Wow.

There are some pretty good deals to be had - E6400 in particular is very cheap, even if it's refurbished. Nothing like this in Canada, that's for sure.

3yr warranty and free 3-5 day shipping doesn't hurt either.

I called MBNA and they added the US Shipping address to my account. I placed the order for a refurbished E4200 on the Dell Outlet site and had order shipped to USA shipping address. So...will now wait and see what happens.

FYI specs on the Dell E4200 were
CPU=Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 (1.2ghz)
Drive=64gb Mobility Solid State Drive
OS=Windows XP Pro with Vista Business Lic
RAM=2gb
Video=Intel 4500MHD

It also has a 365 Bluetooth Wireless Card and a 6 Cell battery, 3yr warranty and the feature that I really wanted to try: a backlit Keyboard.

Total Cost was $755 USD (had to pay tax of approx $68). I think for the price this is a pretty good 12" laptop.

Plus border cost (approx 120 CAD)

I think deal of $1040 CAD was pretty good. A similar E4200 on Dell's Canada site seems to be around $2680 CAD. Not sure about shipping, tax etc ...and I am sure they would have Deals so you would not pay list price.

Really like the Back Lit keyboard !!
