Princess Auto has a Cement Mixer for 279.99. The sales rep told me that they won't put them out until Tuesday and they expect to sell out of them on Tuesday. No Rain Checks. These are great if you need to make a walkway, concrete pad for a shed or a patio. Save lots by doing it yourself, and mixing is the hardest part of the finishing end.

3.5 cu. ft. capacity (approx 1 bag of concrete per .5 cu. ft.)
1/3 HP. motor, 120V. 3,400 RPM
14 3/4" Drum Opening
6 ft cord, 8" wheels
Wt.113.5 lbs.

If you wish to purchase you can call the store and they will hold one for you for the day.

Here's a pic of the Mixer, I wonder if its any good, I need to build a stone oven so I wonder if its worth it to just buy one rather than rent

hhaha! Actually, there's a limit of 4 per person, so I'll have to try to get my friend to come with me. What the hell... I might just pick up the full 8.

I think cement shoes make it hard to tread in water.

Believe it or not I just picked one up in Hamilton. They had one outside the front door. It looks a little cheap and it is alought cheaper than the 750.00 gas model. The drum looks a little smaller than the 3.5 cubic size it states but I think it's a hot deal. I love this store, but it's breaking me.

I would but unfortunately it's going to be a couple of weeks before I'll be using it. I have to bust up the old concrete first by sledge hammer, form, stone, compact and can only work on my days off weather permitting. By the time I would let you know they'll be long gone. But if not I'll post it here.

Most of the time, at least down this way, Princess Auto honours their flyer prices, the weekend before the sale starts (basically, once people have received the flyer), even on limited quantity or door crasher items. I would go and check today or tomorrow for sure.
