When you gameshare, you have to use a new account. If you do not use a new account, then any previously activated systems will take up a spot in the new gameshare. This is why you should ALWAYS start a new account for a gameshare.

EDIT: It may have been an honest mistake. I won't assume anything. Thanks for the refund.

I downloaded my stuff yesterday and logged off. Do I have to manually go in and deactivate again? If so, my bad - it was late and I didn't think of deactivating. I just logged out of Ren's account and shut off the PS3.

Refund issued to Wontontiger. Still looking in to the issue, but I'm wondering if it may be due to this being my second ps3.

If you used your main account for this gameshare then this would most likely be the problem. The 5 limit isn't a download limit but rather the number of Playstation 3s that can have the PSN ID activated. Once activated you can downlaod it as manytimes as you would like on the PS3. For that reason most gameshares use the a brand new account to ensure that it has not been activated on any PS3 yet.

If he'd already game shared with this account before, there wouldn't be 5 activations left. I think it was just a mistake. I got my money, so whatever.
