Hi,
About to assemble a new pc with sata h/d for the first time,I know I need to install the drivers from floppy for Win XP,but the file is 3078kb's.I've extracted the driver and obviously it won't all fit on the floppy.Which part of thr driver do I need to put on floppy? It's for an Msi K9N6PGM2-V m/b.The driver is
nVidia MCP61 SATA RAID / AHCI Driver (For floppy driver),the instructions say:
NVIDIA MCP61 SATA RAID driver
1. Extract the file and Copy all files to the floppy.
2. Press F6 to install driver through the floppy when booting and loading RAID function.

Well all the files won't fit,I'm new to this and realize I know it's in there but I'm not sure which file I need.Thanks.

Take a good look at the file ... There is a folder called "Floppy" and it is containing 2 sub-folders (disk1 & disk2) ... You only need those 2 for the F6 ... All the rest is for Windows later on ...

Thanks ,inside the file here are two folders, one is sata ide, one is sata raid.Within each of those there is disk one and disk two folder.Once I figure out whether I need sata ide or sata raid ,do I copy the files from disk one and disk two onto the same floppy or do I need two floppys? Thanks.Sorry for the dumb question.
