View Full Version : Retailers not selling Tales of Vesperia?

I've been meaning to play Tales of Vesperia, but it seems like none of the major retailers are selling it anymore. I've tried BB, FS, TSCC, RCSS, and Sig with no luck. It seems for now I'm stuck ordering it from Amazon.ca, which doesn't bother me per se, but I have GCs lying around that I'd rather use up. It just came out in November iirc, and there are plenty of older games, even X360 launch titles, still on shelves like COD2, Kameo, and GUN, so I don't understand why it's so hard to find. Is it just an anti-JRPG bias, or has it not been selling well at all?

I dont think its a huge demand for it out here in north america...i suggest trying ebgames/gamestop ..ive seen a few copies at most...I never find the JRPG's at the HUGE chain places...no one likes em :(

Ask EB. If they don't have it, order it online. It's a gem of a game - one of the better written ones in any genre. I would advise that you order it on Ebay or something, since you can get a discount. Get any version, it doesn't matter. It's not region encoded.

GL hunting!

I think it's been discontinued. I remember seeing a copy at EB though.

Also, you have great taste.

If you have a PS3, you should just wait for the "director's cut" edition of Vesperia.

Makes me regret buying the 360 version a month or so ago.

I know, but thank you

I don't shop at EB or Gamestop out of principle. I have no problems with Amazon, I get next day delivery where I live, it's just too bad the coupon no longer works.

I'll be doing that... but sadly... looks like it's gonna be a while for it to come here.

That reminds me, I should be getting one from Tales Brigade. It's been 2 months.

it might not even show up here but it would be smart of them to include the at least eng subtitles and menu's with the Japanese release. It would make it more import friendly that way.

If your having trouble finding the game, find it used or try videogamesplus.ca.

I think its pretty high for them to release it the PS3 version here since they did for Eternal Sonata. They wont disappoint the PS3 fans since they know there will be market for the game even if they don't sell it at a budget price.

Try ordering it online or used from BST. It's an awesome game.

Try your local Rogers Video. I picked it up used at Rogers (in Kanata, Ontario) a couple of weeks ago for $40.
