My first choice: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21973
I like the EDGE, I like the menus and it is a fairly easy to use card.
My second choice: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11811
Acekards are a little more complicated, but not much and offers a crapload more customizability. All sorts of neat menu features.
I have no opinion of the DSTT, I personally wouldnt get it, but I know it works. Stay away from the R4, a year or two ago it was the best (or only) solution but now you can do far far better and the other products have much better support.

Which DSi card is considered the best right now?
A buddy just bought one (despite my recommendation just to get a normal DS Lite instead) and wants a flash card.

I wanted to buy one and started asking myself these questions after seeing so many different brands out. I got lazy and bought the cheapest one (TT or something) from Dealextreme and couldn't be happier with it. I don't know what I'm missing but if you don't know, you won't miss it! Can't be any easier to use than this.

If its for DS or DS Lite , I'd recommend Cyclods, one of the best card out there but a bit pricey ranging from $60-$65. For DSi, Ak2i currently is the best one, If you want to wait, team M3 is going to release their Itouch 2 for DSi claims to beat all competitions.

I ordered two DSTTs from DX last week. I figured that I couldn't go wrong for $6 ea. They should arrive next week. I'm currently using a Supercard DS-One. It's a great card and I haven't had any problems with it. They update their firmware often too.

the cyclods is the best one to go with especially if you dont want to bother changing/replacing it later. the quality of it and support on it cant be beat.

Does anyone know which one works best as both a DS and GBA backup and where to get it? I have a DS phat if that matters.

You can't back up GBA games with a DS flashcard. I'm afraid you need a GBA flashcard to do that.

So I could get an AceKard2 to play DS games but could I get something to play backed up GBA games on the DS?

I just got my DSTT that I ordered a few weeks back, and I don't have a single complaint.

They take awhile, but free shipping. With pricing, says it all.

Dealextreme is reliable, but they take around 2 weeks to ship.
To play GBA games on a DS, you need a GBA flashcard, and those can be tricky to get nowadays. Dealextreme sells a couple, I believe, and you can also get these things like "EZ-Flash 3-in-1", which fit in the SLOT2 thing for a DS Lite and provide GBA flashcard support, rumble, and more ram for the web browser.
If you're looking for just a GBA flashcard, I got mine from a guy on RFD. He's got a bunch of various models, though I don't know the pros and cons to each thing.

The bolded seems perfect. Would I still need an Acecard for DS games?
