Although online access and an e-mail account can be used in order to participate in this contest, NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free e-mail accounts.

1. No Purchase Necessary. The "Spin to Win" Instant Win Contest (the "Contest") begins April 1, 2009 and ends on September 30, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. EDT ("Contest Period"). 2. HOW TO PLAY: During the Contest Period an eligible contestant may visit the Contest Sponsor's website at www.JellyBelly.ca The contestant will then be prompted, to log-in, register and enter the requested demographic information and upon pressing "submit", the contestant will be asked to play the Spin to Win contest. Upon entering contestant's favourite Jelly Belly flavour and pressing "spin" contestant will receive a message ("Screen Shot") notifying the contestant whether or not he/she is a potential winner. Each contestant is allowed only one (1) play per day. If a winning message (i.e., Screen Shot stating that the contestant is a potential winner) is received in response to "Spin" as directed herein, said contestant is a potential winner of the prize specified subject to contestant eligibility. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the "winning" contestant at the e-mail address provided by contestant during the log-in process. All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Contest Rules before any prize will be awarded. When I originally won I received the message that my prize would be shipped in 6-8 weeks and I was emailed a 75 cent coupon.

Anyways today I won again and this I received the same message but also the coupon in my email for 1 free bag of jelly belly. I was supposed to print it off (barely readible coupon). I didn't even bother. I thought we were getting these coupons in the actual maile, not crummy email coupon that you seriously can't even read the fine print on..

Mine rang in at Shopper's Drug Mart at $2.99 too, but the tag on the rack they were hanging from said $3.79. I don't know if was a sale or if the beans were on the wrong rack.

I suspect that this contest brought in a lot more contesters than they were expecting and have already given out most of the prizes.

Statistically, there is no way that after playing every day since the beginning, my husband and I have only won one bag each. If it were only us, I could see it, but others on this board are reporting similar stories.

That happened to me, too. In order to win, you just need to have one of those large, red Jelly Belly logos in your results. One logo means a free bag of jelly beans, two logos means a hat (I think), etc...

My suspicion is that at the beginning, they were in fact giving out 1 in 16 bags, but the contest was much more popular than they suspected, and they then had to seriously limit the prizes remaining.

I play this contest once each for the three adults in my house every day, and we have only won one bag after winning twice at the beginning of the contest. It seems almost pointless now, especially since I also suspect that the hats and jellybean machines have all been won already.
