Just went poof while I was watching youtube.

Does not power on anymore, on AC nor battery.

This really sucks...

I always thought Lenovo was good, now I am back to using my dell 640m.

Anyone using the S10 right now?

I am going to send mine for repair.

Frying egg sizzling sound after it was shut off...

You ever monitor the temps using SpeedFan or something like that?

Haven't had any problems with mine. That's what warranty is for i guess.

I did not monitor the temperature, but it was not that hot at all. Just youtube an no other stuff.

When I plug the power back in, the burning smell comes back!

I always thought Lenovo was good

While things are different nowadays (versus the Thinkpads of old), don't let one single incident define how you think of the brand. It's not even anecdotal evidence...
