Hi,
In your opinion, which insurance company is providing best quotes at this time?
Apparently PCFinancial has stopped providing auto insurance quotes. Link: http://www.pcinsurance.ca/ROCEN/AutoHome_message.asp
Thanks,
MG.

it's different for every driver but I find Belair direct to be the best for me.
Hit up Kanetix.ca - you get a quote from multiple insurance companies so you can compare prices/costs etc.

I just ended up going through a local broker, and they found me a better rate than any of the big names companies I looked at. So that's always an option to look into.
And yes, I have had to use the policy a few times unfortunately lol. The actual policy is through Wawanesa, who I had never even heard of until the broker recommended them. And they have been fantastic to deal with the 2 times I have had to use them.

+1 ....
They initially saved us $1k+ for two cars over the last insurance company ...
We're still with them ... a buddy of mine just got a policy with them as well and they were the cheapest he found as well.

there are no "best" rates. Company A will be cheaper than Company B for one type of customer by Company B will be cheaper for a different one. There is no 1 company that provides the lowest rates for everyone.
That's why everyone has to shop around. Or else 1 company will have everyone's business...

I agree with REMS. Insurance companies target diff customer groups, some specialized in more mature people, some prefer some other group, thus price it accordingly to attract its target group. So, you will never get a cheapest company here on the forum unless someone has a very similar profile as you.

Shop around, some companies have put in for rate increases just recently. Best option is to use a Broker who can shop the companies for the best option that suits your needs. :)
