The parking stalls are numbered where I live and my neighbor is convinced I swiped the back end of her SUV. It's one thing if if I actually did and was looking for a cop out, but I didn't and she refuses to listen to reason. She knocked my door asking to speak with me, after a back and forth with her threatens to call the cops. I told her to go ahead, she's going around asking the neighbors if they had witnessed me hitting her car. My bumper does have a few scratches but seeing as how it's a used car I don't see how that's relevant. That's all she has, "my car has a smudge and your front bumper has scratches." Besides ignore her, what should I do?

do you see any paint chips?

start on your own defense instead of ignoring her.

if she comes to your door again ask her if she has insurance. if she says yes tell her to use it. if she gets lippy tell her you are calling the police.

If she grabs your plate and then goes to insurance, this can become a pain in the %^.

So don't tell her to go to her insurance.

Be wise...just tell her to stick her head up her&*( and mind her own business.

No. All I see is a dirty spot, no dent or scratch. I'm just annoyed by the way shes going about it, I've had neighbors come up to me asking this what this nut job wants from me.

This is far from harassment, don't call the cops, they don't care about a minor situation like this.

Just simply tell her that you did not hit her car so she needs to either piss off and leave you alone or call the cops, tell her you don't care either way.

Why do we get so many posts like this? Seriously it's weird.

Use common sense. You didn't hit her, right..? I wouldn't even worry about it.

She'll probably screw off soon enough, but if not, the previous advice on here would be good to follow as well.

Peace of mind, that's all lol. I was sure someone on here encountered something similar and wanted to see what advice I'd get.
