Ok I was driving by a house when I saw a mint 93 Honda Accord SE so I stopped and to look at it and a old lady came out and said she want $200 for it... I looked it over and it ran, but needed new tires, Altinator and belt, new rad, had a gas leak.. I got it home with a flat bed and started cleaning up when I saw Vtech on the motor and since accords were not v-tech I looked around then I relized it was K20 motor... I called the old lady to ask about the motor and she said he grandson bought it off her and was fixing it up and had dropped a motor in it before he died and that she drove it for a little bit and then it sat for awhile.... Well I dropped a new battery in it and some new gas and it fires right up no problems at all. Then I took the top of the engine apart to find out the pistons, sleeves, crank shaft are all forged.

I kinda feel bad since I only paid $200 for it and the motor itself was worth alot more, even found some chrome under all the dirt on the motor.... By far the best $200 car ever bought that I know of.... Just thought I would share my great find.

Nice pick up, it's unfortunate with what happened to her grandson though.

Now slap that K20 into a better ride IMO :cheesygri

This sounds like a plot from the next Fast & Furious movie. Why do I never get lucky like that?

Your full of BS a k20 would NEVER fit in a 93 Accord. The transmission is on the other side. K20 Don't have forged sleeves and the sleeves cannot be changed. What part of the engine did you take out? its pretty hard to see the crank even with the pistons out!

Come on bro we all have to see how someone would transplant a k20 that has the transmission on the driver side, On a car that has the transmission on the passenger side. Your talking about custom cutting frame rails fabrications of custom motor mounts, exhaust, driveshafts, fuel supply, etc... how about just one pic even a crappy one from a cellphone. You never did tell me how you saw the forged crank. Cheers
