Happy Easter

Don't tell me your age;

The Hershey Man will know!

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..
If you haven't, add 1758.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2009) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

chocolate Calculator.

wow. that's so cool.

how does she get it right?

It's a formula being generated. It's mostly formed by square 9 like all the answers will be in multiples of 9, 18, 27, 36, etc...:razz::razz:

EDIT: I will demonstrate an example. Like any of these numbers will get you to 9, 18, 27, 36, etc...

45-(4+5)=36
44-(4+4)=36
43-(4+3)=36
25-(2+5)=18
24-(2+4)=18
23-(2+3)=18

So no matter what numbers you input, you still get a multiple of 9s, so on the chart: (You will see Fuzzy Scarf are all the same and the rest could be anything so that it can confuse you)

Note: The chart changes everytime with a new item so the one I got is Fuzzy Scarf, the next one would be a different item but in the same pattern.

I don't know why people as so amazed by these...

X= a number of times you want chocolate a week and Y = your birth year.

1. X
2. 2X
3. 2X+5
4. 50*(2X+5)
5. 50*(2X+5)+1759
6. 50*(2X+5)+1759-Y
Simply...
=50*(2X+5)+1759-Y
=100X + 250 +1759 -y
=100X + 2009 -Y

100X = the number you picked in step 1 as the first digit
2009 - Y = your age as the last two digits

Fails if you are 100 or older though...:P

It also fails if you want chocolate more than 9 times / week.
