check out SIG`s electronics, they have it for 70CAD.
or find a DD-WRT or Tomato FW compatible router and have a wireless bridge. That probably has a better use than the wireless adapter.

I heard about making your own router but I think instead of going through the hassles. I would rather purchase the actual adapter. :cheesygri:cheesygri:cheesygri

Yea, seems like a good deal. Something I would get but it's out of stock.

how hard is it to flash a firmware on a router and then configuring it, saving like 15 bucks, and you can use the router for other things.

Sometimes it's about looks over functionality.

I heard you have to flash the router so the Xbox 360 can recognize it... :cheesygri:cheesygri:cheesygri
Anyone know where to grab a Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter online for under $60? I am looking for a site to accept Paypal because I have like $140 in there and I want to clear it up... :cheesygri:cheesygri:cheesygri

I don't see it, it seems everything is over the price mark. I am so desperate to look for one, it seems these wireless adapters are in high demands...:cry::cry:

Twice I've seen them open-box at BestBuy for $49.99; I thought that was a decent price.

just be patient and keep trying ebay... got mine for like $40

^ Wow. $40 is a good price but it is so hard to grab a functional one because people on eBay are scamming with defected ones. So what they do is they send you a defected adapter where they would lie to you that it is functional one. Once the item comes, you test it out and found out it was defected and you quickly contact the eBay seller. The seller would say different reasons to obligate that it wasn't his fault and blames on the courier for the delivery or you. Even if you chargeback from the seller, the seller would use the tracking # to prove the recipient has already received the item so there's no way to escape the scam. So I think, buying from eBay is a 50/50 risk and I think it might be best to buy one from a retailer store to avoid all those troubles. Just my $0.02... *typing with my mobile internet is painful* :cheesygri:cheesygri:cheesygri

I made a post about my setup awhile back
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=715426
* If you have a laptop you can piggy back on it and connect 360 wired to it
* I managed to get a router for $5.00 on craigslist and 360 connects to it wired - The Router is setup in Client bridge wireless mode which connects to my other router/internet modem a few rooms away and its been working flawlessly
If you can find a cheap router, might be another option
search on google for client bridge 360

Looks good but I want to buy the actual adapter since its more of intended for the 360. I know people have bought the wireless adapter way less than the actual cost from a retailer store. I mean $100 for a wireless adapter sounds like a rip, I moreover to pay $50-$70 for one and today, I attempted to buy one from Best Buy for $74.99 but they were sold out. So I guess this wireless adapter is pretty in high demand, even the eBgames I went to are sold out. Either way, I want to pay a fair price for it... :o:o:o

You said you have another router handy... see if it has that feature for client bridge......then connect 360 to it wired and see if it works?
