You know Obama-mania is getting out of hand when there is a website devoted to selling just one product, namely the exact same watch as worn by Obama.

http://barackswatch.com/

I'm still waiting for CNN to start reporting on what he eats every day (or have they?!?)

It is amusing how many of these products are popping up (coins, anyone?)

Though in all seriousness, I hope no one actually buys this watch from the aforementioned site. If you visit the site via the link above, the url reads http://barackswatch.com.

But if you take your mouse cursor and hover over the Presidential Watch Company header and look at the URL that shows up on the status bar (bottom of your browser) the url reads http://www.barackswatch.com.

Hardly :cheesygri

The folks who buy a lot of Obama memorabilia would buy anything with his face on it, but might not be aware as you, Eyies, or I when it comes to buying stuff on the internet. They might be so enamoured with the Obama watch that they would plunge ahead, and give their credit info without checking out if the web site's sound. So regardless of how ridiculous or NOOB-ish my post was, it doesn't hurt to put it out there to folks who aren't internet-savy.

That's how some folks always seem to fall for some scams when clicking on e-mails from "banks" and visiting "bank" pages - by not being aware.

what does "out of hand" mean anyways... is it the end of society for people to buy useless crap?

Last week i bought a CD off the internet, does this mean kris-kros-mania is out of hand too?

This confused the hell out of me. I had to re-read the post, then go over each character in the URL looking for something out of place. I couldn't figure it out until I scrolled down and read the other posts. IT'S THE SAME SITE! FUUUUUUU *head explodes*
