I need to travel from Scarborough Warden and Steeles to Brampton (32 Kennedy Road to be exact) by public transit. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to get there or perhaps can someone direct me to a website that offers comprehensive route planning and such? Thanks in advance.

I guess you can try taking TTC to York Mills station where you should be able to catch a GO bus to Brampton Go station. Then at Brampton Go station, there're local Brampton buses that should take you onto Kennedy Road.

There're also GO trains running from Union Station to Brampton Go station on weekdays during rush hours (starting at 2:45, 4:15, 4:45, 5:15, 5:45)

Be sure to plan for return trip too.

ETA: BTW, Kennedy Road in Brampton has north and south...so make sure you know which direction it is. :)

What's up with all the public transit threads today? Just kidding.

Anyhow, further to what takethat200210 suggested, which is probably the most direct route out of all the choices, take the York Mills Go Bus to Bramalea City Centre / Bramalea Transit Centre and then get on the Queen St E westbound bus on Brampton Transit all the way to Kennedy. Your destination is about 0.5km north of Queen St.

Brampton Transit Queen St route. (http://www.brampton.ca/transit/schedules/1.pdf)

Have fun. It's going to be a LONG ride. ;)

Edit: Viva bus from Finch Go Station will also take you to Bramalea City Centre along Hwy 7/Queen St, but my guess is it'll be slower than taking Go Bus from York Mills. Link to Viva. (http://www.yrt.ca/maps/navigators/77.pdf)
