Reliable PS3 controller driver that works on Vista 64?

I have a few games that work way better on controller then keyboard and mouse :P Mainly simulation games lol...

but anyhow, are there any reliable drivers out there for the ps3 controller that'll work on a vista 64 machine? or am i forever doomed and having to buy the xbox controller for windows :(

^^ don't u think i've tried...the ones i've tried work on vista 32 but not 64.

Can't seem to get it to work on my friend's laptop... it detects it, but doesn't detect the buttons presses and what not.

the bluetooth one worked too.
