See, this is why I still do not trust the TTC website.

From ttc.ca:

There are no major disruptions at this time.

From thestar.com:

TTC: A section of the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway service is currently shut down from Bloor Station to Eglinton Station. Shuttle buses are in service.

It's the evening rush, and I'd like to know before heading out.

Anyone?

Thanks for the quick reply, I REALLY appreciate it.

Again, ttc.ca fails!

They're too busy cleaning the blood and brains off the front of the subway to update the website.

Have some respect, someone's creepy hobo probably died!

Similar "personal injury at track level" today at Vic Park around 11:45. Shut down the BD line between Kennedy and Woodbine for a while. These things usually happen in bunches.

Actually, the TTC website did have the service disruption announcement up in the late afternoon. I was on their website and saw the notice, but it was updated and removed shortly afterwards (around 5pm). If you were checking TTC's website at around the time you posted this thread, you wouldn't have seen the notice. They probably had the problem resolved and the subways back online by then.

I was at Yonge/Bloor at around 5:30pm. No disruption of service then. Seemed like everything ran smoothly.
