Here is the scenario.
My father owns 3 cars. One car is for business and registered accordingly. One car is family car and third car is mine but registered for my father.

I am on the policy as second driver and I have to pay insurance as second driver for both cars. This is insurers policy i guess.

Is there any way that i can only pay insurance for the car i drive? I am back in school and i rarely even drive my car but still have to pay insurance for two cars.

Only me and my father have driver license in our home (G)

really? Shouldn't you be primary for one of the cars?

3 cars, 2 drivers, your dad is primary on all 3?

So lemme get it straight,

Work car: Primary(Dad), Secondary(n/a)
Family car(Dads): Primary(Dad), Secondary(You)
Family car #2(Yours): Primary(Dad), Secondary(You?)

First car - a van is registered on business with black plates.
Yes, for both cars that are on personal registration i am both as secondary driver and dad as primary

How is that possible? Your dad can't be primary on both cars. I thought you would have to be primary on 1 for sure?

I am not primary on any of the cars. If i was a primary i would be paying $500 a month because of the accident last year.

Something isn't right here. Your dad can't be a primary driver on all 3 vehicles!

should get it checked out by insurance before you get charged with fraud or get denied a claim after an accident.

+1

He shouldn't be the primary driver on any more than two vehicles if it's just the two of you living there. If there are three licensed drivers in the house, he should only be primary on one of them.

Are there any exclusion policies in place?

Like others have said, your dad can only be primary on one car.
