Heys just wanted to share.

I was driving home Monday night, minding my own buis.... when all of a sudden I see headlights looking like the driver was going to make a left. I notice that there is no way to make this left the way he was going. ....... So I start to swerve to the right good thing I did or he would have killed me he was doing about 70 80 kmph in a pick up truck and I was driving a Matrix. Spun me out lost all power to the car, I was left facing southbound in the northbound lane, I just got out and left it there the traffic was still coming. Once the traffic had slowed I was able to hop back in and get it pulled over into a parking lot.

This person came up to me and asked me if I was ok, he told me the dudes wheel was about 150 yardsfrom where he hit me and his truck was about 150 yards from me.

What happened was this guy was soooooo drunk he hit a curb sooo hard he knocked the wheel and tire off . Came across 4 lanes of traffic and hit me. I could not even get his info by the time I got the car back in the parking lot, he was in cuffs and in a crusier. I asked the cop how do you know he was drunk did he take a breath test, he was like I could give him a breath test 2 hours from now and he would still blow way over the limit!

A$$HOLE!

To top it all off my wife is pregnant with our first child, scary to think that my son could have grown up not even knowing his father.

Thanks for reading!

I'm glad you're okay.

I hope they throw the book at him. However the sad thing is that this probably didn't get a large amount of media coverage compared to the last person caught under the 'street racing' law.

It's truly sad that a simple speeder gets more attention than those that are caught falling down drunk while at the wheel.

They won't...they keep going on and on and on about going after drunk driver's to the mad, but they don't...there are always reasons too.

My friend was killed by a repeat offender and her four kids are motherless, but the driver who killed her is sitting home ready to do it again :twisted:

OP, I am glad your story has a happy ending.

I'm glad you're ok but what's with these asshats driving while drunk?

It really pisses me off to hear that a life could have been lost due to his incompetence.

That a$$hole should be in jail right now and his license suspended.
