Haha! Steal a single prop Cessna and have some fun!

They didn't shoot him down, a-freaking mazing. Wanted some american beef jerky - but didn't have enough money - ROFL.

Funny thing is - Obama just passed the spending bill to finish off building F-22's and F-35's to bring the final number of new fighters to 2,443.

Thousands of new fighters combined with tens of thousands of old fighters - and they still have the moral conscience to not shoot down a wayward Canadian. I don't know if its a good or bad thing.

On the CBC they were discussing that he might have been trying to commit suicide. Same sort of idea as when people purposely provoke police officers to shoot them, they thought he might have been purposely trying to get the US forces to shoot him down. Some people want to die but just don't feel like they can do it themselves.

I'm impressed that the Americans didn't shoot him down. With past events in mind, it wouldn't be unreasonable to adopt a "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality in this situation.

Clearly disturbed in some capacity. Tried to buy gatorade and beef jerky but didn't have money and this is where it is evidently clear he's troubled; sat there and waited until the authorities came and got him.

May not be charged now but I think he will be sooner rather than later.

Quite probable explanation.
