Best PC games from 2008

Hi ... now life is stable =0) and got time to kill aswell ... i would like to get back into pc gaming i got a pretty descent build pc ... i was more into action based 1st person shooter games like unreal tournament half life 2, medal of honor, crisis.

other than those what other good games have been out that i should look into? Thanks. they dont need to be multi player and half life 2, crysis were the last game i played ...

my pc from last year:

AmD anthlon 64 x2 dual core 3800+ 2 GHZ
3 gig ram
Radeon X1900 512 meg ram

I paid like 700 plus taxes for that video card when it came out i think it still should be good.

I hear Fallout 3 is a good game. I played Starcraft again at a cafe and I found out it was still pretty entertaining, more then WC3 (just regular not custom maps).
