I'm planning to use my Samsung 22" 2253BW as the display for my PS3 (well...when I get it...)

are there any diff. between these two? (besides the price). I'm just wondering whether if I can go cheap on these kinds of cables or not...the cheap no-name got great reviews, or should I end up paying more than double for a Belkin?

order one from monoprice.com

you can alternatively buy a hdmi cable and a hdmi to dvi converter. That way in the future you can still use the hdmi cable.

It's all digital. If it works, it works. However, get one from monoprice instead.

edit: beaten. Or do as supremekai said, and get these two.

One downside to DVI, is that it cannot send YCbCr signal (native color space for BR/DVD movies) so you will have to watch them in RGB. Most people probably won't notice any difference unless you had them running side by side, and this only applies to BR/DVD, as games/xmb use the RGB color space anyway.

If ur new to dvi cables make sure you get the dvi cable that can be hooked to the monitor because there are different pins like single/dual and more like that. 2 of your links have different kind of cables, first link is dual and second is single(pin connection) cable.

Most monitors have dual link inputs, but single link will work as well. There's also DVI-I (analog and digital), DVI-D (digital only) and DVI-A (analog only) cables/inputs.

In most cases, a single/dual link DVI-D cable will be just fine. I'm pretty sure single is capable of up to 1920x1200/60hz and dual is capable of 2560x1600/60hz.
