Brand New, never opened Bold that is locked to Rogers. I believe current shipments come with charger, SIM, swivel etc.

I would include a 8GB Sandisk MicroSD that is not new (bought a month ago and has been used on my camera).

I would like $600 OBO.

Just so you don't get into any sticky misunderstandings with people....the sim card that is in your hup is 99.9% programmed (but not activated) to the line you did the hup on.

IE it is useless to anybody else., as you cannot 'DEPROGRAM' a sim once it is on an account.

Otherwise, Happy Trading!

Sorry to threadjack, but does that mean that I basically have 2 active SIM cards when I hup my line?

I have done many HUP's and the Rogers rep. never open the sim card. I just use my exisiting one. So the unopened sim card is fine for anyone to use.

In case you missed the subtlety: Note I said 'programmed'.

You can have many 'programmed' sim cards on a line...but only one 'active' sim card at any one time.

If the phone is a hup thru CS, or CR, a telesales order, 99.9% the sim is programed to the line it is ordered on.

As you've stated 'the rep never opened the sim' ;). We're trying to help people here okay...not provide unclear and misleading info . Yours are STORE hups.

OP said 'I believe current shipments' indicating it was NOT a store hup.

The ONLY exception to what I said is if it is a store hup ;)...as yours is.

btw., you can program a sim card without 'opening' the transparent wrapper of the sim....heck you can do it without breaking the seal on a hup box. The sim # is printed on the white label on the outside...so if a store tells you 'we must activate the sim card' (IPHONE NOTWITHSTANDING)...just hold up the box, and point with your finger ;)...and watch their jaw drop.

I've had no issues using a brand new sim card months later even when I did HUP's from a CSR. I know the sim card can be programmed without opening the package, but why would they waste their time doing that? They just wait until the customer calls in to have it programmed to work with their phone.

Maybe some CSR's do this. But I have never encountered this before.

Note, I said 99.9% they would be. Clearly you're the one falling in the cracks.

And where did you get the 99.9% from?

Feedback on forums.

The fact that the sim card is programmed on the label that is stuck to the hup when shipped out from the warehouse.

The fact that it is actually policy to program the sim to the line ;).
