Ok I've been looking for a peacoat thats not double breasted and is not very thick, so I can wear it now in Canada, when I go overseas next month and eventually wear it in the winter with layers. I've been looking a lot of places but many stores have removed peacoats from their shelves because of spring - but its still freakin' COLD! Does anyone know where I can still find peacoats here in Toronto (it doesn't have to be like the one I described)?

i've been looking for peacoats too! i saw some while in the states, at a department store (can't remember which one). they were marked down about 40-50% but i didn't have enough time to try one on. maybe try department stores like bay or sears around your area.

i've been looking for a tall slim fit peacoat(6'3) all winter... no luck :( anyone know where i could find one?
oh and theres alot of peacoats left at stores like international clothers or pinstripe, etc. Those aren't the greatest but i guess if u really want one then visit those stores. vaughn mills should have alot of coats left, i think.

Peacoats that aren't double-breasted? Do those even exist?
Check the suit stores for peacoats.

I've seen a few people on the forums say good things about indochino (http://indochino.com/), they've got one peacoat (http://indochino.com/coats/The_Navy_Pea_Coat.html#) made out of wool, and cashmere.
Having never tried them before I can't personally recommend them, and shipping might be an issue (not nearly as fast as buying one from some TO store), but their stuff looks pretty good and I've heard nothing but good things from people who have bought stuff from them.

I think rfd, at one point had a coupon for the site, I'm gonna see if I can find it...
edit: We've got an exclusive coupon for Indochino. Enter coupon code Red at checkout for 15% off.

I think you mean an overcoat. A peacoat by definition is double breasted.
Fashion outlets in Buffalo still had a few coats at Burberry and Off Saks.
