Just got my M2 and looking to buy a motorcycle. I need something in good condition and safety'd. I don't care too much about how many CCs the bike has but it needs to be in good condition.

Maximum I can spend is 3K.

Thanks Red. I did mention that I don't care too much about how many CCs the bike has, what is more important to myself is the condition of the bike. In fact I would prefer a smaller bike to start to get more experienced...

get a ninja 250 if cc's aren't important...those things also have good resale because well they're beginner bikes. You might want to look into ninja 500s and GS500s too.

1983 Honda Magna v65(1100c.c.).Needs some T.L.C. but I would not hesitate to even drive it to T.O. (from Montreal). spent $1,800. last winter in the engine( all NEW timing chains,gears,sprockets,seals,gaskets,valves checked &gapped,synthetic oil,new battery. Will let it go for $1,200, just bought a new car.
