Meh it's been cheaper before.

Quality isn't that good I would save my money and get other headphones instead.

I actually using these atm. I bought them a few months ago and they have been dropped many many times but thier still ticking with nothing wrong with them. Plus the sound quality is awesome.

skull candy are made very poorly. You should see the pile of broken skull candy's I have each month for our warranty replacements.

They have been around for at least a year, since that is when we started carrying them, and then I've seen them around before that as well. As for the different prices, some colours, I assume, are easier to find than others so the whole supply and demand thing.
As for price, they retail for around 40-55, but the markup on headphones is so much, our company was doing half price on all skull candy's and still making quite a profit from them.
