Went by the CT at Yonge/Steeles today and found a Campbell Hausfeld 3-pack nailer combo kit on clearance for $79.99. Picked up the last one on the shelf. SKU #099-8099-4 and seems delisted on the CT website right now. Was watching this one for a while - was previously $200 at CT and $170-ish at Costco.
Includes:
- 3 1/2" clipped head framing nailer, 30-34 degrees, oil, case
- 1 1/4" brad nailer, 18ga, 3/8" to 1 1/4", some nails
- 2 1/2" finishing nailer, 16ga, some nails
- all have 1/4" connectors
External link (part number CHN90498 DE):
www.mainpowerconnect.com (http://www.mainpowerconnect.com/productDetail.asp_Q_productID_E_410_A_subcatID_E_2 10_A_catID_E_107_A_brandID_E_35)
Seems like they are clearing out this one for the newer kit here (~$210):
newer model (http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444330 0946&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396672077&bmUID=1238277420040)
The only thing I didn't really like was that it was only able to do 1 1/4" brads, but I figure I could get a separate brad nailer if it bugged me that much later on. Not sure if there's a "bump" mode on the framing nailer.
Also cashed in on the $10 GC for > $50 deal today.

On the computer, they had a "phantom" unit at l'acadie. I just called & they told me there are none in stock.

they are nailers they have to be used in conjunction with a air compressor. The nailers have many uses depend on the size of the nail that it is compatible with. They are great for trim, crown molding, door frames, woodworking (furniture) and Shingles (roofing). It make quick work in comparison to a hammer and nail and it's usually give a clean and more consistent finish.

This is a sweet deal, I was able to find a set at Costco last year for $99. They have been replaced with the Magnesium nailers I think!
Is that $10 GC deal on all week?

$10GC deal was one-day only (last Saturday). You can use the GC until April 4th though.

Vancouver Cambie still has one left.
Get them to PM with the North Van store.
Note - if you phone to ask about stock, their computer said they had none in stock, but I happened to be there, and there was 2 (now 1  ) on the shelf (best to ask them to do a visual stock check or something).

used in conjuction with an air compressor - you can build anything that requires nails. The framing nailer i used to frame my basement - did everything in a day with that puppy.
The brad nailer and finishing nailer you can use for furniture repairs, nailing mouldings or trims to the walls.. any type of wood work really
