hey all

was curious; regarding those tax return booths/cubicals they have in the malls

how does it work?
you bring them the figures and they punch it into a computer.
they credit you the return instantly

so what happens next?
they fill in the forms for you?
what happens if there are discrepencies?

Pretty much, they take your information and input it into a professional version of uFile or Taxtron.... the "walk out with your refund" is really a loan with an administration fee... and as such if the CRA reassesses you and decides your refund is smaller, you're responsible for paying it back to the loan company... otherwise the refund gets sent directly to the tax company
