"pacific mall" and "legit" should not be in the same sentence ;)

Laurier Optical used to sometimes write "fake" precriptions.
Like say you have a healthplan that covered eyeglasses, but wanted sunglasses instead, they would just write out another receipt...
I've also seen them do that with designer sunglasses- 2 years ago I ended up buying 3 pairs (not of recent sunglasses) and the receipt they gave me just said "sunglasses $50.00" with no brand description.
I didn't ask them for a different receipt, just what the salesperson working there automatically did.
Now I haven't bought anything at their store in over 2 years, but they do have locations in Toronto (i went to the ottawa store).
Now I did not ask anyone at the store for a "fake" receipt- just if i could upgrade to prescription lenses on sunglasses from a reg eyeglass prescription....but this was with a government plan where u r not supposed to change anything....

From what I've seen, there is no store that sells fake sunglasses in that mall.
All of the stores are legit and order their inventory from local distributors like Luxxotica.

Please STFU if you don't know what you're talking about.
OP, I've been to Pmall and got my Oakley Square Wires there. Super legit. Fuji Optical and The Optical Place (something like that) and most stores there sell legit stuff. Look for the cases, try 'em on and everything.
But, their prices are inflated. They know that most people who go there aren't paying legit (since most insurance companies only offer the money for prescription lenses, and sunglasses, ie mine, were not prescription) so they make their prices huge so you have to use up all your insurance AND THEN, maybe, pay an additional bit. They write you a fake prescription so you can claim the insurance, btw, and that, of course, is free of charge. You _must_ ask for this though, otherwise they may think that an ordinary sunglasses receipt will do. Which, for the most part, does not work out nicely.
You can definitely bargain with them and they will work it out to make you pay the least (they lowered the price of my Square wires polarized by over 100 from 370! :D not bad.) Also, it helps if you're asian, obviously.
Fuji optical is the most expensive place there because they got huge advertising. My friend got his Oakey gascans for liek 600-700 (which is like 6x MSRP) using 3 of his family's insurance (since they didn't need it) funds. It's pretty ********. Make sure to ask price THEN tell them your insurance.

From what I've seen, there is no store that sells fake sunglasses in that mall.
All of the stores are legit and order their inventory "off the truck" of local distributors like Luxxotica.
Fixed..
