I'm looking to get me a fedora. Nothing fancy at all, just something cheap to wear everyday. Anyone know a store, place, person (RFD-ER) I can get one from? I guessing $30-ish mark? Thanks for any and all input:!:

I'm not looking for a straw one, just a fabric one.
Big It Up is kinda expensive but Lids looks promising.
Is there a way to get to a online catalog for Winners for that $15 one mentioned?

Unless you're Joey Jeremiah or some old retired Italian playing bocce you have no business wearing a fedora lol

from what i've noticed...it's usually senior citizens who wear the felt ones, younger people wear the straw ones because they look more casual and age appropriate.

Check out Goorin hats at www.goorin.com Many different stores carry them, and the fedoras are very nice. There is a sample sale here in Vancouver where the hats sell for only $15!

I've seen some at H&M and I think at stitches for pretty cheap. I wish I could rock a fedora, but it just ends up looking like crap on me.

You should wear one anyway. What's the worse that can happen? :D Might inspire someone else to get under a fedora too. That's what happened to me.

It really isn't about fedoras looking like crap, I like them, it is about my facial structure just isn't well suited for it. I've tried them on a few times and got opinions from friends, and every time I got a "That looks like ****, I would advise against it".

Sorry, but I have never seen a guy pull of a fedora.
It doesn't really work, and often makes them look like they're trying wayyy to hard.
Rock it though if you don't really care what other people think (which is cool), but from what I've seen, I would not let a friend walk around with one on.

I don't know, it just doesn't really suit me at all. I don't know many people who could pull it off.

I've seen a few people in music videos and such pull it off, but it seems to not be very common. Really, it is something that doesn't suit everyone. Kinda like skinny jeans, you need the right body type to be able to pull them off. Seeing a fat guy in skinny jeans just looks ridiculous, just like seeing someone wearing a fedora when their face isn't suited to it looks ridiculous.
If you don't care what other people think, then yea, totally do your own thing. I don't really care, all I know is that for me, it doesn't work and I know it, so I don't wear it. Just like I know I couldn't rock skinny jeans.
