I recently saw an advertisement of Kanye West on Dime Magazine and I saw him wearing a pair of Air Jordan 8 Retro shoes. This shoes look good on him and I thought about the same in buying one for myself. I have little knowledge with shoes and price... :o:o:o

Anyone know where I can find an authentic pair of Air Jordan 8 shoes and how much they go for in general? This will be my first pair of Jordan shoes. My budget would be under $200 for a pair if possible. I have not yet visit any retailer stores but it would be best if I ask ahead in RFD before going to the stores...:razz::razz:

I don't think that's possible.

You can try these stores
*GoodFoot
*Si Vous Play (maybe?)
*Livestock
*StolenRiches

Call before you go.

Here you go: http://northtrooper.blogspot.com/2008/09/air-jordan-8-retro-aqua.html
This store is located in Yorkville. It doesn't fit your budget, however the BST on www.issforums.com might (just look for local sellers).

Don't buy shoes just because a celebrity wears them, buy them if you genuinely like them.

Is that $210 with tax or before tax? Looks good but I don't know if they are genuine. Does Champ Sports or Footlocker carry any Jordan 8 shoes?:confused::confused:

It will be really hard to find the Aqua8's in store anywhere for under 200

Your best bet is to try online forums as the above posters mentioned, but even then, they are most likely gonna cost you more than $200

Ummmz... guess again. If they got it from a supplier there's tax. If its on consignment... no tax.

I'm not up on athletic shoe collector's culture, but a few weeks ago I did stumble upon a merchant on e-Bay who always seems to be selling NOS vintage shoes (mostly 90's it seems, and mostly Nike).

http://shop.ebay.ca/merchant/lightningstrikes2004

Not a whole lot of items right now but it was a much bigger list a couple of weeks ago.

That doesn't really help dude, there aren't even Jordan's listed...

And for the OP, if you want Jordan 8 aqua's for less than $200, you pretty much have no choice but to hit some B/S/T sites...

some examples:

nikesb.org forums
solecollector.com forums (or ISS)
RFD apparel

Or you could ways hit ebay, they have aqua's but the price range can be huge... It may take a while to find yourself a clean pair of 8 Aqua's, but you will if you spend some time, I guarantee it.

.

He's a scavanging luidator, the list of items changes every 5-10 days. Just saying it might be worth while checking in in hs list a coupe of times a month.

Also there are some sellers who are willing to e-mail you notification if they are about to list an item you have asked about directly. It's probably not a bad idea to make list of guys who deal in discontinued shoes and ask them to try and find it for you.

Well, the shoes he has now really have 0 resemblance to any Jordans... Im not sure how to explain it exactly, but when someone sells those kinds of sneakers, they aren't going to suddenly have 200$ 8's...
