Fabric Shops in Toronto?

Was hoping if any locals could point me to where I can find a good variety of fabric / garment materials in Toronto? Retail or Wholesale.

I have a friend who told me there's a few in downtown, but did not know exactly where.

Any help would be appreciated!

Most of the independent fabric shops in Toronto are located on Queen st. West, West of Spadina (you'll see a lot of stores selling fabric and notions there).

Besides that, there are some Fabriclands and BouClairs located around Toronto (just check their websites).

It is large and has a huge variety of fabrics. The reality show Project Runway Canada, sources it's fabrics there.
