Coming from a GTAA employee:

Check out AboutTown Transport.

Why not just drive/park in the reduced rate lot? How long are you away for?

Geez, for 700 it would probably be cheaper to drive to Detroit and fly to Toronto! (Well, not exactly.. but, still that is crazy!!)...

Anyway, I am curious why you don't fly out of Detroit? (unless you are going to Cuba or something)

This is what I ended up doing. My ride back to Pearson fell through 2 weeks before I was suppose to leave with my family. I looked into the price of a one-way rental but it was just ridiculous. So I rented a car and put my sister-in-law (she had a small car) on as a secondary driver. I made sure that when she returned it, the car rental company would just charge it to my credit card. Hopefully you have a friend or family member that wouldn't mind taking a day trip out to TO.

My last trip to Windsor, I flew into London via Westjet instead. Cheaper than flying direct into Windsor via Air Canada (besides... I hate flying in that small ass plane). Although flying to TO was cheaper... but a longer drive to Windsor. I hope this helps!

Pay a (responsible) teenager you know to drive you there... they're always looking for money.

Take a train to Brampton VIA or Union and take a taxi/airport limo to the airport....

Check the Windsor craigslist for drivers offering shuttle services:
http://windsor.en.craigslist.ca/rid/

You should be able to find someone with a van that can drive your family and luggage to Pearson. Toronto-Buffalo is about $100-$130, so I'd imagine Windsor-Pearson would be in the $400-500 range.
