So, the kids are off for March Break & wifey is taking the next weekend off (3 days)./
Just wondering if anyone can post any deals for 2-3 days for sight- seeing & hotel. I dont mind travelling 5-6 hrs from TO.
Any package deals or any place worth seeing besides Niagara (go there every year), something different.
Thanx

If the kids like hockey, Sens tickets are in low demand these days :D (not sure if they are playing)

I would check hotwire for crazy hotel deals. We are going to London to visit friends. The Delta website had "March Break Deals" for 175/.night. I went on hotwire and got it for $50 Us, or $71 a night.

Thanks for the replies.
We are a family of 5 (2+3).
I would appreciate if someone has booked on line for some good hotel deals in Ontario or Montreal to please post it here.
Thanks

This is what we're doing for March Breaks...
Spending 3 days in Ottawa. We were able to book a very low rate with Extended Stay Hotels because they have Lowest Price Guarantee less 10%.
We'll be doing the regular tourist stuff - Byward market and one of the museums.
While along the way, we'll be making our pitstop at the Maple Syrup Festival in Warkworth (only this weekend), we're we're able to buy pancakes and sausages and homemade maple syrup...mmm....

Quebec city? It's a bit of a drive but it's a UNESCO world heritage site and well worth it IMO. You can stroll the streets just admiring the colonial architecture and visit all the famous landmarks (citadel, chateau frontenac, etc), and there's plenty of handicraft stores, cafes, and museums along the way. There's also a major waterfall on the outskirts of the city. I also took a one-day trip to go whale-watching on the St. Lawrence river- the kids will definitely enjoy that (but dress warm!). Best part is that it's all very affordable- parking is deathly cheap across the river, and most places are accessible by walking. I'd book your hotel online through expedia, travelocity, etc (look for something in the old city) and then you can buy tickets for any of the attractions locally.
