I felt like I haven't seen much of Canada as a whole so I actually want to just randomly travel somewhere using the Go Train. Where are some good places that are far away from Markham? I just want to sight see pretty much for one or two days. If anyone is wondering, I'm just a HS student so don't suggest me to use a lot of money haha.

i am also from markham (markville SS represent!) but anyway... on the go train as of right now... the furthest u can go east would be to oshawa... furthest u can go north is Barrie, furthest west is hamilton...can go north west to milton or georgetown...and obviously south to downtown toronto...

timing would also take u a pretty long time.. i dunno what kind of sight seeing u want to do but there isint much sight seeing other than going to downtown toronto.... there isint that much to go "see" in barrie or hamilton or whatever....just go downtown toronto and walk around i guess... best u can do on the go train lol

Take GO Train to Milton, than take a taxi to one of the parks along the escarpment like Rattlesnake Point. You can hike part of the Bruce Trail. Probably need to bring some heavy duty shoes to avoid water. Not sure if the times work, you may have to take GO BUS instead.

Learn to drive if you want to sight-see...

Thanks for the suggestions haha and UHS represent!

I already know how to drive but being a HS student, I don't have money to buy myself a car at the moment so that is out of the question.
