Anybody have any leads?

I'm currently looking at getting an KQC and can get it for $129.99 but would have to order online. I'd prefer to buy from a B&M in Ottawa that carries any of the brands: KQC, CHI, FHI, GHD or Sebu (or any other recommendations). Also looking at not spending any more than $150 (taxes in).

You could check out BSO Beauty Supply Outlet...not sure if I recall seeing one in Ottawa but there is quite a few of them around here.

I've used a couple different flat irons, and I've found that my CHI works the best. As for where to get it, I wouldn't know, as I'm not from Ottawa, but if you resort to ordering online, Folica.com is pretty good.

I understand that ordering through Folica.com would result in duty and other fees and I would like to avoid any shipping fee surprises. Do you have any experience with Folica and their shipping?

As for the beauty supply suggestion, there are some beauty supply stores here in Ottawa but I always thought that they only sold to trade. Am I wrong?

I don't remember any weird charges. Wouldn't have been anything more than $10 if there was a charge...Shipping was speedy as well.

Thanks! Just ordered my KCQ from www.flatironexperts.com. They are based in BC. They've offered me 20% off the sale price, free shine serum, and free shipping. Plus I only have to pay the GST, since I'm in Ontario!
