different/cool things to do in Niagara Falls?

i'm going for an o/n with my two nieces who are 12 and 13.
besides the obvious (Hill, Imax, scary houses, falls) what else is there that might interest them?
i know about the arcades and such, but i was thinking more 'hidden gems'.

You could bring a barrel or two - I don't think anyone's been over the Falls for a while!:lol:

Seriously though, when are you thinking of visiting? Many atractions are seasonal. Depending on your interests there are many things you could do, from waterslides to nature walks, helicopter rides to battlefield tours, and much more besides.

Trying to think what I've done previously, or was potentially going to be done...

If its a spring day - drive to Grimsby and hike the Escarpment.. Was fun when I did it..

The Aero Car ride - I never went on this - it was closed when we went because of the wind.

There is always the water park.
The ones over the parking garage of the casino offers day passes. GWL requires a stayover. I believe there is another one called the Americana. Can't comment on that one...never stayed there before.

One thing I usually do when I'm there is Go-Karting. I think they are open all year, weather permitting of course. Best to call them ahead of time. Check out their site. If you go to the lobby of your hotel, look for pamphlets on things to do. There should also be a pamphlet that would give you 2 free extras laps or something for the go karting.
