Now on clearance for 399.98, at least at the Brampton location.
Atom N270
1GB RAM
160 GB HDD
3 cell battery
Win XP
Bag and mouse included
Seems like a decent deal with costco's 90 day return policy and 2 yr warranty.

Saw this at the Barrie location as well, so it might be a nationwide thing.

Don't know much about this type of stuff but isn't a 3 cell battery pretty crappy??

160GB is good and Costco return policy is better than FS. But price is probably about the same, but the return policy is key

Can't remember the exact model, but the specs certainly look familiar. How is this hot if I purchased this as an xmas present back in Nov/Dec 08 at Walmart for $389? Shouldn't this price have dropped a lot more by now?

3 cell is standard battery size. Should last around 2.5-3 hours. Obviously they do this on purpose and add the 6-cell as an add-on.

My experience was about 1:45 with XP.

Costco also includes the laptop bag and mouse. I wouldn't call it hot, but it is a nice little bonus.

The one at Costco also comes with a mouse and case. I got it just before Christmas, it died after a few days, they took it back no questions asked, got another one that has worked great ever since. I think I get 2 - 3 hours on the battery, haven't timed it.

I got slightly over 2 hours doing light work in XP with the 3 cell version. It went back to Futureshop.

Has anybody been able to find the 6 cell in Canada. FS, BB and Costco all seem to only carry the 3 cell.
Walmart US carries the 6 cell for $324US
