Bought this game a few months ago and I highly recommending it. It's gets rather difficult as you progress through the levels.

Used the last of my Wii points to download this game the other day.
A fun game for all ages.
Now when is Zellers going to put the Wii points card on sale again? (PM'd 2000pts at BB for ~$12 last year :))

Absolutely fantastic game... for this price, it's a complete steal. Feels good to support an indie developer as well.

It was actually the publisher of the boxed copies (http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/world-of-goo-publisher-brighter-minds-media-goes-bankrupt/?biz=1) that went bankrupt, not 2D Boy. Buy World of Goo regardless!
Thanks for the post Riflem@n.

Had a go on a friend's computer and decided to buy it, but not at $20. It's a no-brainer at $5.

I already had that game (don't ask) but decided to purchase it to support the developers for a great game. At least my other copy is DRM free.
Also bought Unreal Tournament 3.

It seems my list of games on Steam is getting rather large! 45 paid titles to be exact! Granted that ID pack goes towards most of those in that list.
Hopefully the boys at 2D Boys will pass it forward and spend that money so that we can keep this economy rolling.
If you have money, SPEND IT! Otherwise, this vicious circle will get so damn bad only a handful of us will have jobs. Just tell yourself that every dollar you spend will become 1 dollar coming back in your account cause you will get paid and didn't lose your job.

Splort.
There's a demo available for anyone not sure. Gives you quite a few levels too, if I remember correctly. I had a look during the Christmas/New Year's sale, when it was $15 or so.

Took the plunge. A friend recommended it to me a while back, and for 5 dollars (albeit US dollars) you really can't go wrong.
Thanks OP!

It's been posted already, but it is such a cool game, I'm enjoying it very much with my kids! It's worth another post. ;) Thanks for posting. :)
Edited to add:
I can play this game with my 6 year old and 12 year old - it's very interesting. [I feel badly though - they are kicking a55 in the game compared to me. I'm a platformer gamer from the 80's who failed to progress with the times, what can I say? ;)] Ladybug, Popeye, Jr. Donkeykong and Frogger make a little more sense to me but I have to say...
I wondered how the game would play on a pc as opposed to the Wii; (having never tried the game on the Wii.) The feeling of building the little globs has an incredible sense of reality, even on a pc! Amazing, and likely pretty cool for a cat to watch, if you have one. I am glad to have supported the promoters of the game, as it is one heckuva cool game, and at $4.99 USD it's a must-buy.

the purchased version is also drm free.
The Steam version isn't DRM free since it requires Steam (and an internet connection) to run (and yes, I know about offline mode but it's not the same).
If you meant the version bought from 2D Boys directly, then yes, that one is DRM free.
Which reminds me, I should go check what's new at gog.com. Well, maybe not, I just bought 2 games today and I've barely started Killzone 2. Got more games than time.

Fantastic buy. If you like to solve puzzles, you will love this through and through.
Everything about this game is top notch. Even the installer and loading screen are fun! I'm not even kidding. They just add their own great touches and it works well.

I bought this a few months ago and can't recommend this game enough! Fun, addictive and can be very challenging in the later levels!
Also, if you enjoy this game, it's worth tracking down and checking out a game called Crayon Physics Deluxe - it's not on steam but it's such an awesome game. I'm sure if you like World of Goo you'll enjoy Crayon Physics Deluxe too!!!
