Hi guys,

I dont know if this is 100% possible but if your price match futureshop @ $269.99 for the XBOX 360 Pro Holiday bundle and then use the $20 off 100 and $20off 150 that Staples recently emailed to us (if you are on their mailing list). You can get the Xbox 360 pro for $229.99 plus taxes.

Let me know if it works because im probably going to do it. Anyone have any reasons why it wouldn't? (Other then they dont allow pricematch + coupons at your local store)

EDIT: You can only pricematch + 1 coupon. So 249.99 is the price.

Almost every store treats their regular price, after coupon, as the price before matching. You might be able to finagle the combo you want by catching a cashier at the right time or manipulating your order, but it's a serious YMMV and is pretty much a "price error" by a misinterpretation of policy not a "hot deal"

ive never heard of being able to use more than one coupon at a time is the point. every coupon be it for mcdonalds or walmart or the local drug store.
they all say: cannot be combined. limit 1 per customer per offer.
i didnt know staples had stackable coupons.

I called the order phone number for Staples and she said I could price match and use 1 coupon but not 2 coupons.

So I guess the best you can do is $249.99 + tx unless you are a Jedi.

the second point is using more than one coupon on the same order. usually they will try to eliminate that but the system allow you to use as many coupons as you want as long they satisfy the requirement and they are different coupons (first five digits).

They've been accepting them in store for a while now. The cashier has an option to input the staples coupon into the computer at point of sale. Has worked for me numerous times since the coupons started saying in-store, online, or by phone (since... december?)

You know Folks I read all messages in this thread, and I have only one question: Is it $18 so significant difference to buy an old crap that Staples carry? Wal-Mart sells brand new Jasper Holiday Bundle for 267.97$.... I think sometimes it's better to pay some more to get something better, or you just buying it for few month, than gonna sell it? In this case you'll lose your money anyway! :confused:

Which Wal-Mart carries the Jasper Holiday 2008 bundle? The only place I know in the GTA that actually has Jasper 60 GB Xbox is at Future Shop. They don't come with games but they do come from a Lot # of 847X, with a power brick of 150w and has 12,1A on the back.

BTW manufacturing date is 11/26/2008.

Thanks for the heads up on the Dell site. I called Staples and price matched that today. They did have to charge a $15 fee for their next day delivery because dell didnt offer that for free. I also applied 2 coupons. $20 of $100 and $20 of $150. Grand total came to $261 including tax for the Xbox 360 pro Holiday Bundle.

Yes, I did the same thing, but could only get my hands on a 20 off 100 and 10 of 100 coupon... oh well, it's ok... same $15 delivery charge, but still better than price matching at futureshop in store as I don't have a proper email printout to show the people there... I expect to get a Falcon model. Doesn't seem like any of these holiday bundles will be Jaspers...

Having said that...a few words of advice. YOU'RE NEW HERE. How about, for the first 200 posts, you try to avoid hitting /submit/ before you've reread your post from the standpoint of your wonderful *insert random elderly person you revere Ex: grandmother*. IE Ensure it is as tactful as possible.

Here's your free-hall-pass. Don't squander it. Coupon use at Staples entails applying as many coupons as you can so long as the subtotal is MORE than the combined total of the coupons.

If you have a $20 OFF $150 coupon...you could theoretically apply FIVE coupons to a $750 item or combined shopping cart full of items thereat. if in store, besure to have print outs to show the cashier to scan in. If online, ensure you have UNIQUE SERIAL NUMBERS for your coupons as otherwise THOUGH THE COMPUTER may process your order, THEY WILL BE REFUSED when the manual auditing is performed on ALL big-ticket items rest assured.

THAT in a nutshell is how STaples coupons are applied. Price-matching...well...If you have any other questions, there's a VERY strong Search module built into Vbulletin 2.0 (or whatever this one is) which RFD is built on. It lets you search WITHIN a thread, which some forums don't have, but which is VERY important for large threads.
