Looking for the right air purifier!!

Anyone got any ideas about air purifiers? I am not sure what to get or what is recommended to get. I was looking at the Sharp purifiers that Futureshop has to offer. They go on sale for around 50% off every couple of months.

Can anyone offer any insight into these products?

shopping for one of these myself. I am thinking of getting a humidifier/purifier. Especially for the cold winter months...my condo humidity goes down to 15%...when it should be around 40%-45% to keep your skin healthy.

Anyway, I have done a bunch of research and there seems to be a few good firms:

Sharp (great brand, great reviews for both humidifiers and purifiers)

Thinking of buying this model - Sharp KC-C100U @ Futureshop when goes on sale.


Bionaire (quality brand for humidifiers and purifiers)

Sold in many Canadian Stores
Reviews similar to Sharp (high quality)


Air-O-Swiss (doesn't seem to sell in major Canadian stores though)

Great Brand/Reviews
Good Warranty


Anyway, this is a summary of what I have found so far. I am hoping that Sharp model goes on sale soon....going to put it in my living room and see how well it does...then maybe buy smaller purifier(s) for the bedrooms.
