because if they weren't blu-ray, it wouldn't be a deal at all. They are blu-ray, but it would be good to include that in the subject.

Anyone know if FS has a policy one way or the other of price matching these, if you are in a city that doesn't have SIG? (like me in Edmonton) Or is it just hit-or-miss depending who you talk to?

@ 7cal, it's definitely YMMV on PM'ing.
for unsuccessful attempts, people have quoted FS saying that SIG is a wholesaler and gets their stuff from the states. Which is pretty baloney if you ask me lol...but...that's a reason that's been given.
And also, since you're in edmonton, FS can always pull the whole, "we get to charge you shipping" thing since SIG's stores are in the GTA (richmond hill and brampton).

Good deals if you live nearby. I don't (Downtown). My past attempts to PM with SIG at FS if it's a significant difference always end up in either "not authorized dealer" or "return policy is different" ********.

Isn't the onus on FS to prove that SiG gets their stuff from the states, NOT the other way around? I would escalate to the store manager if the clerk refuses, and not be too quiet about it, either.
If SiG's return policy is very limited, etc. THAT is what will give FS their 'out'.

I just got back from FS and they wouldn't price match. Said they only match on stores in the city, or else they have to add shipping into the price and they will match on that.

Personally, I wouldn't give Step Brothers more than a rent, or even better, buying it and then trading it in at Blockbuster. It's a decent movie, but you watch it once and you're done with it. I would've wanted to get Hellboy 2, though. Sucks that it's OOS.

Got lucky, was able to pm hellboy @. At STC-bestbuy, $10.99+tax. Also pm'd amazon, for Requiem for a dream & seven $16.70 each, but may return Se7en as only 1080i :(

Dropped by SIG today and picked up Step Brothers, cant beat that price...
Also picked up the Belkin HDMI cable they had selling for $13.99, good price, good cable! (bought a couple 3 ft cables from monoprice and they were terrible, the signal kept flickering on and off)
