Recommend me a pair of headphones

My Apple headphones finally broke, and I have a good set of over the ear ones. I'm looking for a set of earbuds for work and such. But I dont want to spend more then $40ish. I'm just looking for comfortable and decent sounds with good bass if possible. Any ideas?
