Just a newbie, so forgive me if I shouldn't be posting a question in this section...

Heard on the radio this morning that the Coldplay concert at the Rogers Centre this summer was running some sort of a pre-sale starting today through the Argos. Does anybody know more information?

SPECIAL 36 HOUR SALE GOES LIVE THURSDAY, MARCH 5 AT 10AM. Be first to purchase Argos single game vouchers for $33 each, and as a bonus you will instantly be able to purchase your Coldplay tickets to the band's July 30th show ahead of the public.

Remember 10AM THURSDAY, MARCH 5. Tickets are limited, 4 per customer, and only lasts 36 hours.

Toronto – Fans of multi-platinum British rock band Coldplay now have the opportunity to get tickets to their Toronto show on Thursday, July 30 at Rogers Centre before they go on-sale to the general public through a special offer from the Toronto Argonauts. This 36-hour pre-sale begins tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. through ticketmaster.ca/argos where fans can purchase a pair of Coldplay tickets with the purchase of two ticket vouchers to any 2009 pre- or regular season Argos home game as part of this limited time offer. Current and new Argos fans will be able to secure their Coldplay tickets 4 days before everyone else!

Starting Thursday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m., fans can purchase a pair of special ticket vouchers for $33 each to any 2009 pre- or regular season Argonauts home game through ticketmaster.ca/argos. Argos fans can continue to purchase tickets until Friday, March 6 at 10:00 p.m. Coldplay tickets go on-sale to the general public on Monday, March 9. This 36-hour limited window will allow fans to secure tickets, in the best possible seats, 4 days before the general public can even buy tickets.

Existing Argos season ticket holders will also be able to purchase Coldplay tickets ahead of the general public as a special thank you for supporting North America’s oldest professional football team.

Thanks for the info sidseven.

Rather pay to see an Argos game and catch Coldplay in the front row doing this, then having to pay an arm and a leg to a scalper.

You can also get presale tickets by using the password SIRIUS starting 6PM March 5 until 10PM March 8 - no need to buy argo tickets.

If you're in the GAs expect A LOT of weed in the air. I smelt like a grow-op after Radiohead in the GAs.

I'm on the fence of whether to see this, since I saw the band last July in concert and up close at their eTalk interview. Girls Aloud is opening the band's upcoming UK stadium tour - if they're coming to North America I'm in.... lol.

Hi,

i just tried both sirius and globe and mail, but theres only b section floors left.

If i wait until monday is there a change that I will get the GA seats?? Or are they totally gone b/c of the presale?

yeah i have the same problem...i called ticketmaster and they said they only sell a portion of the tickets during presales...im gunna try on monday too...i hope i can get the GA tickets.....
