There is a Korean BBQ place in the entertainment district at Queen and Duncan. To the right of the Scotia Bank. Forget the name. They open late until 2 pm or so, so people can go there after hitting a club or bar.

you want All you can Eat?.. then those imitation Korean BBQs like Walker Hill... and that one the others talk about
you want more authentic.. then.. try the Yonge/Finch area.. or Koreatown.

I like the place on Queen St the other poster mentioned, however my Korean friends don't really. Maybe they just don't like meat as much as me.
It is Chinese owned/operated.
I think it is $8.99 at lunch and $12.99 at dinner for all you can eat. At dinner they have more items to choose from.
Don't forget they will change your grill when it starts to get nasty, but you must ask, and only once during your stay.
The NOW review mentions some other locations:
Korean Grill House
214 Queen West, at Duncan
Neighbourhood: (Queen West)
416-263-9850
Suburban all-you-can-eat do-it-yourself Seoul food barbecue chain moves downtown with mixed results. Pig out on the 'cue but avoid ho-hum bento boxes. Warning: next to nothing for vegetarians other than salad. Best: thinly sliced fatty pork, beef, chicken and salmon sided with sweet kimchee, spicy raw sprouts, deep-fried tofu cubes in red pepper powder, miso-like beef 'n' radish soup and plain white rice. Other locations: Korean Barbeque Restaurant, 3280 Midland, unit 26, 416-754-8141; and 505 Hwy 7 East, building C, suite 70-73, 905-762-1338. Complete meals for $20 per person ($15 at lunch), including all taxes, tip and a prune juice.
Open Sunday to Thursday 11:30 am to midnight, Friday and Saturday 11:30 am to 5 am.

the one on Queen St is sweet, I've been there a few times (live nearby). Get the $9 all you can eat lunch BBQ, and probably only order beef, pork, and maybe squid - chicken and fish not worth it. Great deal for the price and tasty. You get a buncha side dishes too (tofu, spicy kimchi, salad, soup, etc)

At the Midland location there's a guy who kinda looks like Stephen Chow... that guy is pretty funny! And he is pretty quick when you ask for more beef or whatever. He actually comes up to you and asks if you need anything unlike the other waiters who wait for you to call them. We always give that dude a nice tip -_-

Why go to a buffet? .... steam tables, sneeze guards..yuck!
Korean restaurants generally allow you to eat as much as you like (except meat is usually ordered per serving). Not sure if there are many that do this in T.O. I have eaten a couple of times at a restaurant on bloor ( near spadina?) oddly enough called "Korea House" or something similar. Although I usually order something other than bulgogi or BBQ, because other dishes are usually served with several plates of various gimchis, which I enjoy alot. There is usually more than enough to satisfy me and the food is reasonably authentic. Too bad the price of Soju is about 15x higher than in Seoul.

Yeah, you really shoul have tried those. In Korea, we call it a "Rice killer" because it goes really good with rice and you just can't stop eating!!! And have you guys tried Yummy BBQ? There are several locations in downtown Toronto (1 at Bloor & Bathurst, 2 at Yonge & Wellesley area and 1 at Dundas & Bloor inside the shopping mall) and they have really good and cheap food! They were voted for one of the best and cheapest restaurant by NOW! or somthing. I am even thinking of opening one myself! lol

OMG!! How could get tired of eating kal-bi??? I am Korean and I've been eating kal-bi for my entire life and I never get tired of it. Try Kal-bi tang. It's a soup with Kal-bi (not marinated) in it served with steamed rice. Jap-chae is good too but it's a noodle.

ya , it's dog soup ... don't think they serve it in Canada...
How about bundigi? = silkworm cucoons soaked in brine , eat em like peanuts
Seriously,
Gohm -tang ( a soup made from boiling beef bones ) is really very tasty and I would recommend anyone to try it.
Samgetang ( chicken, garlic, daechu, ginseng and rice soup) is one of my fav's too.

Yeah, I think it's actually considered rude in Korean culture to pick up your rice bowl and eat (my mom actually pointed that out to me, but I was like, meh). You usually cannot anyways since rice bowls in Korea typically tend to be metal or ceramic so it'd burn your hand.
As for authentic Korean buffets, I believe they don't really exist here, and it's rare even in Korea, although there are a few. Korean food tends to be non-buffet friendly and the concept itself doesn't really match with the food culture.

There is an AYCE Korean BBQ place that is owned by Koreans and not by Chinese like others. At this place the meat is marinated and is actually really good unlike the Chinese owned ones where the meat is thinly sliced and frozen. It even have all you can eat pork bone soup.
The place used to be called Castle but have recently changed name. It is located at the same plaza as Wasabi on highway 7 and West Beaver Creek (I think it's called Jubilee Square). It's at the west side of the plaza.
The last time that I was there was about 2 months ago and hopefully it's still there.

Korean run restaurant... the kalbi is absolutely delicious
They serve Korean, Japanese and apparently Chinese too

I find that "authentic" Korean food is usually a little more expensive.
