There are other threads about getting Disney tickets at the Disney Store, I just wanted to post this to let people know that there are some available at the Bayshore Mall location.
They have probably 6 adult premium passes - 7 day (w/park hopper and water park) and 25 or so children passes of the same type.
They had 2 adult passes for the 7 day w/water park n more
There were various other passes but these were the ones I was interested in and remembered.
Call the store for availability 613-721-4155 (Bayshore location).
This is definitely a hot deal as prices are the same as the US prices but are charged in CDN.
We bought four 7 day premium passes (adult) and one child 7 day premium pass for $1708.

yes they do, you have to call your store to find out about availability though as they come in batches. The store at Bayshore mall in ottawa said that they were not expecting anymore in until March sometime, we are driving down at the end of the month so took advantage of the ones they had.

hi there, was there any expiry date on them?

If I'm not mistaken, I think the way it works (without purchasing the no-expiry option) is that they automatically expire after using your first day's pass.

I bought my 3-day passes at the Disney Store in Winnipeg in November. They were out of adult passes, so the sold me 4 kid's passes (ages 3-9) and told me there would be no problem upgrading once I got to the park. I would just need to pay the difference.
They were wrong.
The dude at the Guest Relations booth in Downtown Disney changed two of my tickets to "adult" tickets (10 years and older) and DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING!
YMMV. I told him that I needed to change two of the four tickets to 10+. He asked if the kids were with me. I didn't know why he was asking, so I said no. He gave me the two new tickets, voided the old ones and said "there you go". I didn't mean to scam the mouse, but somehow I guess I did.

Disney has always been good about their customer relations, in my experience. We bought 7 Day Hoppers for our kids, back in 2001...these never expire. At that time, we used 3 of the 7 days. Fast forward, to 2008, and my kids are no longer kids according to Disney. We brought our passes to the Guest Relations counter...no charge, they upgraded the kids passes to adults. So, in the 7 years that we held those tickets, the prices of the park fees have increased by at least 30% (don't quote me), and the passes were upgraded from kids to adult. That is a great return on our investment!
FWIW, the Universal passes that we bought thru CAA were the same deal...kids passes back in 2001, but in 2008, they follow Disney's excellent customer service, and upgraded them to adult fares too.
You pay a premium for the park admission fees, but Disney staff know how to treat you right, not just with these free upgrades, but by and large throughout the whole park...Universal has to follow suit, just to keep up and maintain similar attractive value for its customers!
Anyway, if anyone is thinking of buy passes for your kids, choose the non-expiry option, whatever that is, and watch your investment "grow" in the future, if you don't use them all up before they become "adult".

It sounds like everyone or most of the people are recommending un-expired passes is that correct??

I think it depends on how many days you're planning to use in the parks this trip. If you don't think that you will use all 7 days, then yes, nonexpiring is the way to go.

We bought four 7 day premium passes (adult) and one child 7 day premium pass for $1409.43. At today's exchange rate, that is a savings of $330.65!
I am a little confused. I cannot see how you got a great deal. Two adult and one child 7-day (w/ park hopping and water parks + more) can be had for $947.85 USD. Even with a 1.30 credit card exchange rate, the total price should be around $1232.21 CDN. Now, if you also got the No Expiration option because you plan on using the 7-day tickets over two or more trips to WDW, then you saved about $200. However, if you use all 7 days on one trip, then you overpaid.
Keep in mind, now, the No Expiration option is no longer as good a value as it once was. For example, the option in 2008 was $100-110 USD for a 10 day pass. In 2009, the same option is $190-200 USD.

The No Expiration option is only of value to people that make frequent short visits to WDW. If you make a 3-4 day trip every 12-18 months, then a no expiration ticket can be of value. However, only if you purchase the water parks + more option and keep your tickets until all the options are used.
On a 10 day ticket, you get 10 water parks + more uses. If you go to the water parks or Disney Quest, then you save $40 USD per visit, which could cost up to $400 USD based on current pricing.

Okay, now I am even more confused. The best pricing from the lowest cost ticket broker puts ** 4 ** adult and ** 1 ** child 7-day (w/ park hopping and water parks + more) at $1599.75 USD. The cost from Disney is $1709.43 USD for the same.
There must be a typo in the OPs original post. Otherwise, the savings is in excess of $800 CDN (based on Disney's price) and is an awesome deal.

yes, I did make a typo there, sorry. The total for 4 adults and one child came to $1708, not sure what I did originally (we ended up going back and upgrading tickets and stuff so it got a little confusing)
The two adults and one child (for my brothers family) came to $1010.75 CDN, that is for the 7 day park hopper w/water n more. Mine and my Wife's came to just under $700.
Nice catch Mark, thanks.

Me and my wife did some calculations last year (2008) and bought 10 day, no expiry park hoppers for WDW.
For the combined park hopper and non-expiry option, it bumps the cost up approx 40% more than from the base.
One thing to note though is that historically, yeay after year since 2001, WDW has increase the cost of admission approx $3-$5. So depending on how often you go, or expect to go...it may be worth your while.
Also, since 2005(give or take a year) they now use biometric security for the passes. So on the pass' first use, if you buy a non expiry WDW pass...it's bonded to you and non transferrable for life.
One last thing, admission to Disney is free to children under 3, and children tickets at WDW are for those ages 3-9. Other than that...adult tickets. Please not, there are no Seniors or student rates. On children and adult.
Time to call my Disney store to pick up a child pass for my 3 y.o.
Thanks OP!

I need some clarification on an upgrade option. Visiting the Disney store, they seem to sell the tickets at Canadian at par to US. A great deal, but they don't sell the No-expiry option.
So the question is: if I buy the base ticket, can I upgrade when I get there?
THanx in advance for the info!

Not sure about the upgrade for the no-expiry uplift. I bought the 7 day water park option and apparently it can be uplifted to 10 day water park option. Also the 7 day basic can also be uplift to 10 day and or water park options. I will need to go to guest services upon arrival at the park. You might want e-mail Disney and ask about the no-expiry uplift as I don't see why not.

You should be able to do that without a problem.

The no expiry deal is a waste of time in my experience and we are DVC members.
I usually get a 5 day Magic Your Way with Hopper and Water Park Fun & More option. That gives you 5 days of park hopping and 3 days of either water parks and/or Disney Quest. Price is $235 US. Disney price is $342.95 + Tax.
These are also delivered to your door.

Disney World Tickets bought alone are very expensive.
There are some timesharing sessions residents may go to get cheaper discounts. I had no time for that kind of thing and the place where I bought came much cheaper than their discount.
If you have a car you can buy directly in store or online. I do not know about online though and how process works.
I bought them pretty good deal last year. I needed at least 5 times, one day to go to theme park and one day off to do other fun things like water park or disney interactive in pleasure island besides visiting Orlando and the surroundings.
Note the tickets expire 14 days after first use
The store makes copies of your pass, if you have any problem, the store can be reached. Never had a problem with the bought passes.
The place is very safe and renowned for selling disney ticket. Like a certified Disney kind of thing so no hassle. As the salesman told me why they can get Disney cheap is because they operate as a travel agency too.
For $1080 US tax inc , using free upgrade, I had for 4 adults as
5 days 1 park with 5 fun visits. for last year
Considering it cost you a single ticket to Disney hollywood theme park alone cost like $79 dollars, and 4 theme parks to visit , and 1 extra to do one more time again like I did with Hollywood.
The other 5 fun days can be used for the other 2 huge water parks as typhoon, and disney 5 floors interactive unlimited game play from virtual realilty, arcade and education game for all ages.
I will probably buy the tickets to the same place next time I come back to Orlando.

Not bad. My method would have cost you $940 US taxes included and mailed directly to you from Disney. The actual passes not some paper copy that has to be exchanged at customer service.

Forgot to say that prices were for ages (10+), below get cheaper. I was so lucky to find that store the next day I landed there and time was so precious, the most I fear there is scam so I did not go to where they advertise cheap pass! I even have 2 fun pass left in the end and it came to expire too! Remember a day in theme park got you tired easily, so alternating 1 theme park, 1 waterpark so you can be in good shape for an another long fun day! :)
As I say the passes are genuine, I do not remember how many times I use them for fast pass to get all the events I wanted done in a day!

package deals are the best imho
in feb we went to disney (2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant - 2yrs old) and for $3600 we got.
1. 4 tickets from toronto to orlando
2. 4 days (+ 3 free) at pop cent
3. park hoppers (no water park)
4. meal plan (second one - 1 table service, 1 counter service and 1 snack/day)
so paying $1000 for just the tickets seem a bit high for a family of three.

To those who tried to pm me for links, here are the link of the deal I got last year, tax incl. It is kinda hard to look where they list it on their site but the saved bookmark helps me find it. Basically, it is 3 days with free upgrade to 5 days make it attractive.
