Sony Style "Big Secret Event" Sale

I just got an email for the 2nd Annual Big Secret Event sale "with offers this good we have to keep them secret." It's in-store only and runs until Feb. 26th, 2009. Does anyone know what the discounts are like for this? Is it a scratch-n-save sort of thing?

I just got it too. Great marketing, on their part - announce the sale, say it's instore only and show no examples at all of what's on sale because it's a secret. Shhh...don't tell anyone...not even potential customers.

They have to make their sales secret because even at their sale prices you can still get the items cheaper at other retailers and they don't want you comparing the prices before you go to their store.

Well I phoned this morning and asked about the Big Secret Event. Specifically, I was looking for the VGN-Z620D laptop (MSRP $2299). Now, here's the HOT SALES EVENT... that laptop is REGULAR PRICE but you get FREE CD-Rs. :lol: Sony Style is such a joke.
