Price For Used Winter Tires

I have 4, practically brand new (bought in Oct 2008) winter tires. Goodyear Nordic Ice Traks. P185 65R14's
They are going for 70.86 at Crappy Tire.

The title implies you are asking the question, "what is the market like in February for used winter tires?"

That is, you are looking for opinions here, not offers, especially as you don't give your location.

Assuming

- they have been mounted and dismounted with care, with no visible damage in the bead area

- they have done about 4,000km

- no sign of uneven tread wear

- no plugs or patches

- cleaned off ready to transport for installation

my guess would be about $35 ea. now, closer to $50 next November.

You may get 70-75% of the cost if you sell it wisely.
Sell it in next Spetember or October when people start looking for winter tires. It will be hard to sell now as spring is not far away, keep it til next fall and sell them.

Yes I was not trying to sell them in this thread.

I guess it does make more sense to sell them next fall as the demand is higher, I will have room to store them and that is when I can put that money towards my new snow tires.
